Chocolate Chip Cheesecake
- 1 Cup Chocolate Wafer Crumbs
- 3 Tablespoon Margarine, Melted
- 24 oz Cream Cheese, Softened
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 3 Large Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cup Mini Semi-sweet Chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine crumbs and magarine; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes on middle rack. Remove from oven when done.
- In the meantime, combine cream cheese, sugar and flour. Mix at medium speed with electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Blend in sour cream and vanilla.
- Stir in chocolate chips and pour into crust. With the oven still at 350 degrees F. bake for 55 minutes.
- Loosen cake from rim of pan. Cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.
Directions
***TIP: For an even tastier-looking presentation cover the top of cheesecake with more chocolate chips once cake is cooled.
***TIP: Or garnish the top end of each piece with a small mound of whipped cream and a fresh mint leaf.
