This still would go back to how much money you have determined to make for your business and is a certain location becoming a hassle to keep up.

How much do you wish to make per month, per machine?

Before pulling the plug on a location ask yourself if you could make the location work better by adjusting something. Where in the location are you placing it. I have a hotel that just by simply placing in the lobby where more people would see it changed improved the sales. I also once had a bank that improved the machine's sales by placing it right by the front door.

What type of candy do you have in it?

And most importantly is this a location that is linked to other locations so you can add new locations? If it is a hotel chain do any of the employees. managers or owner know a decision-maker in one of the other locations?

I had a location a while ago in a break room of a clothing store. I gave samples away, put a mix of the best candy in the machine, always had it stocked and one of the managers referred me to other branches of that store. Some of the other locations did better than the first one I got.
