Good old-fashioned peanut butter cookies make great deluxe treats!!

Peanut butter cookies can be made many different ways too just like the other kinds of cookies. You have peanut butter flavored cookies, you can spread it on, place peanut butter cups on top or chips mixed in dough, or combine it with chocolate. The combinations are endless so delight your grandma or grandpa, favorite cousin, best friend or just say "I'm thinking of you", to mom.

Yuuuuuuum! What else can you say? The Ultimate Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cookie. You will score many points with whoever it is you give these cookies to.

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy)
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 1/4 cup flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 3/4 tsp. baking soda
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• One bag Hershey Kisses

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix together first 5 ingredients; then add remaining flour and mix until you form a sticky dough. Roll into small balls and place onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until just golden brown. Place unwrapped Hershey kiss in center of each cookie, while they are still hot. Makes approximately 48 cookies.

For those that love chocolate and peanut butter together this recipe will knock their socks off!!

• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2/3 cup peanut butter
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350^º. In large bowl, cream together butter, sugars, salt and peanut butter. Beat in eggs and vanilla and then add the flour and baking soda. Mix well and then add chips. Roll balls of dough and drop onto greased cookie sheet 2" apart. Flatten a bit with the bottom of a glass. Bake 10 - 12 minutes and then let cool.
