Triple Chocolate Brownies

This is the brownie recipe to make for them. Surprise your boyfriend, surprise your girlfriend, take some to your child's teacher as a "thank you gift", maybe your grandma loves chocolate, surprise her. Or perhaps you could be nice to your friendly neighbors and personally deliver them some of theseyummy chocolate square delights.

Pack them in airtight containers when done, but upon delivery set them in a decorative tin or large cellophane bag and tie off with ribbon. Triple Chocolate Brownies


  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 7 oz. semi-sweet chocolate (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter (cut up)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pecans (coarsely chopped)
  • 2 large eggs


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter an 8 inch square baking pan.
  2. Sift the flour and salt into a medium bowl.
  3. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate with the butter in a double noiler over low simmmering water.
  4. Transfer the chocolate mixture to a medium bowl and let cool for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix in the white and milk chocolate chips and teh pecans.
  6. Add the eggs, beating until just blended.
  7. Mix in teh dry ingredients.
  8. Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes until dry on top and not quite firm. DO NOT BURN.
  10. Let cool completely at room temperature before cutting into squares.
